The driver mentioned above is just the Windows XP driver provided by Dell, which can be installed on Vista. When I installed Vista Beta 2, and Beta Build 5456, both times Vista failed to find the audio driver automatically during installation. However Windows Update provided a driver called 'SigmaTel C-Major Audio', which has a newer version than the Dell XP one. Although, using the Windows Update driver is fine with the onboard laptop speakers (Latitude D610), but no output is possible through the headphone jack (it reports that it is mono, but is stereo and works fine under XP).
